Prinkipo Aromatherapy is a family-owned business based on Büyükada that produces handmade products, most notably soy candles inspired by the natural beauty of the Princes’ Islands — once known as the flower garden of Istanbul.
Prinkipo, the Greek name for Büyükada, means “Prince.”
Honeysuckle (Lonicera) is a plant known for its delicate and pleasantly fragrant flowers.
During the Ottoman period, it was used as an ornamental plant in waterfront mansions and on balconies, and it is also cultivated on the Princes’ Islands.
