Prinkipo Aromatherapy
a Family Business from Princes' Islands, Istanbul
As a family business from Büyükada, which is the largest of the Princes' Islands in Istanbul, we began our journey at the end of 2024 with the production of soy candles.
We named our brand “Prinkipo,” the former Greek name of Büyükada, meaning “Prince.” Today, our products are available in 35 selected stores.

Founder
Emre Imer
He has founded and managed various companies as an entrepreneur in Türkiye and Europe. He also has more than 15 years of professional experience in international business development and project finance at some of Türkiye’s leading construction companies.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU) and a Master’s degree in Insurance from Marmara University.
He also studied at the Tokyo Institute of Technology and the Czech Technical University in Prague.
Our Story
Inspired by the Flowers of Princes' Islands
We began producing soy candles, the first product line of Prinkipo Aromatherapy, inspired by the flowers of the Princes’ Islands — the garden of Istanbul.
For the islanders, mimosa is the herald of spring. In March 2025, we introduced our first product, the Mimosa Scented Soy Candle, to visitors at the Princes' Islands Mimosa Festival.
Following the positive feedback we received, we created the Island Flowers Collection and began offering our products in selected stores.
We continue our journey by expanding our portfolio with new products.
